Did Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Break Up Over Scientology?

Since power couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony made the surprise announcement about their divorce, there have been many rumors -- J-Lo dressed "too sexy" for "dominating husband" Marc Antony, J-Lo is going back to Diddy, oh wait, they're back together! Oh, wait, no they're not. Now, a source tells the Daily Mail that the duo split due to Jennifer Lopez's alleged commitment to Scientology.

"Jennifer and Marc couldn't see eye-to-eye on the subject," the anonymous source says. "She's always been more into the church than him." The two reportedly rowed over their twins Max and Emme. J-Lo wanted to send the kids to a Scientology school, while Marc Anthony "wasn't a huge fan and it caused problems."

While being close friends with celebrity Scientologists Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez denied being one herself in 2007. A year later in 2008 she opened up to the Daily Beast about her father being a Scientologist for more than 20 years, and about wanting to send her kids to Scientology school: "I wouldn't mind. Not at all. Because I know that the technologies that they have are very helpful..."

"Sometimes it doesn't work -- and that's sad," Jennifer Lopez has recently told Vanity Fair, opening up about the breakup. Her words have taken on a new and specific meaning, with this latest rumor, since the controversial organization has been criticized for encouraging its members to distance themselves from non-believers. "Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself -- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me."

I think they are very much in love...with have the twins and her music. idol. etc...all going on the same time....I feel insecurity on marc's part...while in normal....they did to balance it out...all she is looking for is a future for hrer children...and he should be doing for his others children.....you can feel the love when they are togther...too much love....get help first...don't break this up.........try hard..show us with hard work..it works out in hollywood

Who really cares what this bimbo does? she is one of the most self absorbed, self centered, egotistical women I've seen in a long time, she had to have this guy knowing he was married and his wife was pregnant with their 3rd child. He's an idiot as well. Both deserve each other and both deserve all the misery this divorce will cause. Scientology is NOT a religion and people need to quit calling it one. Its an insult to mainstream religion.

One thing the Scientfictionologist do is latch on to people with money,they excel in lureing them in and shakeing them down,you won't see poor folks in that "chuch".

I'd say scientology isn't working for her. It really offends me that she's making money off other people's misery (I'm referring to the repo show). Here's this woman who's worth millions, who could go around helping these people complete the purchase of their vehicles (some don't deserve it of course) instead she hosts a show making bucks off their distress. Shame on you big bucks & shame on scientology for failing to teach you to respect the poor.
Proverbs 14:31 He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
Now there's a show.. pull up with a tow truck and then Jennifer steps out of a car and writes a check to the bank for the balance of their loan! That would be on par with extreme home makeover, only a lot more people would likely benefit!!

We live in a country with freedom of religion, and crazies abound in all of them without exception. As ignorant as some of the Scientologist claims sound, so do many other scriptures. Hate, revenge, Holy Wars, vindictive Gods are all part of human culture. As for me, I do not care about any of that. I stick with Science.
