Lady Gaga Goes Bra-Less for VMA Promo

Admit it. You can't get enough Lady Gaga since you've seen her raunchy and equally sinister clusterf--- of a video for 'You and I' that premiered yesterday (Aug. 17). But now you can hear Mother Monster play the same tune with a bit of New Orleans spice for an MTV VMAs promo spot (via Digital Spy). And did we mention that she takes off her bra halfway through the commercial?

"Sometimes I'm really happy when I write music; sometimes I'm really angry, sometimes I'm really drunk, or sometimes I'm super-sober," the singer says in the promo's voice-over. "You never really know why, if or how you write music."

Shot in black and white, Gaga is sitting at a piano surrounded by a couple of jazz aficionados when all of a sudden ... uh oh! Bra be gone -- only to be covered up by a couple of sheets of music. The pop star has been nominated for Best Female Video' for 'Born This Way' as well as 'Best Art Direction' and 'Best Choreography' for 'Judas'. The VMA's will air Aug. 28 on MTV.

In terms of overall musical competency she has what you would expect from any music school graduate, and the actual level of her performances is something we see regularly on the 'American Idol' elimination rounds, but the key to Ms. Germanotta's success is her quirky and ingenious insight into American consumer pyschology.

She perceived early on that memorable talents had a fixed persona (and the persona was fixed because it was secondary to an artist's real talent). Ms. Germanotta was honest enough to realize that her abilities were minimal, but she understood that if the packaging could be continually changed, then anything--literally ANYTHING--could be made to be seem revelatory and transcendent.

In short, this little wannabe-so-bad transformed herself into She-Who-Must-Be-Consumed.....the latest retelling of the Emperor's New Clothes.

just like I said before , and will keep saying, she has no talent and the only reason she is popular is she sells her ass and dresses weird, she is just a musical prostitute. you young people need to start finding real musicians again, not freak shows.. these pop and rap artist are a freakin' joke.
