JT sent fans into a frenzy last night (Aug. 31) when he performed an impromptu show at his New York restaurant Southern Hospitality. The celebrity patrons in the restaurant-turned-concert venue included Emma Roberts, Amanda Seyfried, Kourtney Kardashian, sister Kim Kardashian, and Kim's new NBA player-husband Kris Humphries.
Timberlake took to his Twitter page earlier that same day to announce his plans to perform with his hip-hop/rock group FreeSol, signed to Justin's label Tennman Records in 2006, at his Hell's Kitchen area eatery. With just a few hours notice, the place was packed and police had to step in to help keep the large crowds forming on the streets outside at bay.
Justin jammed with FreeSol, playing the keyboard as they performed a handful of their own tracks, but the highlight of the show was when Timberlake stole the mic and rapped on one of FreeSol's songs, before singing an acoustic version of his hit single 'What Goes Around ... Comes Around' while playing the guitar.
Now the question remains, is this impromptu gig a sign that Justin has finally come to his senses and decided to stop depriving his fans of new musical material from him?
