The past-due pregnant former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has finally given birth to a new baby girl after rushing to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center yesterday (Sept. 1).

Mel B delivered her third child on last night, with her film-producer husband Stephen Belafonte and eldest daughter, 12-year-old Phoenix, at her side. Melanie's third girl was also welcomed by older sister, four-year-old Angel.

Mel announced her baby news on her twitter page, tweeting, "Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!" Sounds like a pretty eventful delivery!

The singer-turned-reality TV star added a direct message to her husband and new dad. "I didn't think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey,we have a truly amazing family xxx," she gushed.

Congratulations, Mel!

Her make up lady needs a medal. She CAN make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I know shes just a lass from a Leeds council estate but christ is she rough. Her only talent was those puppies jiggling around in the leopard print sacks. Why do the media keep feeding these nonentities with publicity, just let them fade into obscurity. Women give birth every day, is anyone realy interested apart from maybee, the various fathers, three kids and three fathers I think. One of which I know wasnt overjoyed by the news of pregnancy. Shes just an ex ghetto girl putting it about trying to screw her way out of obscurity. While im ranting does anyone think Posh (used in the loosest possiable way) is starting to resemble the queen character from Mars Attacks.
