Justin Timberlake Goes Incognito as Ernie, Undetected by Crowds at Comic-Con

Even when he's taking an extended hiatus from the music business, it's rare for Justin Timberlake to go unnoticed by screaming fans and desperate paparazzi while out in public. But at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif., Justin managed to do just that.

Thanks to a full-body Ernie costume, complete with mask, Justin disguised himself as the famous 'Sesame Street' character and spent an entire afternoon out in public, while simultaneously enjoying his anonymity!

As a part of Esquire's October cover story on Justin, journalist Chris Jones and Timberlake put on Bert and Ernie costumes, respectively, and took to the San Diego Convention Center in their unconventional outfits. JT, of course, received plenty of attention -- but as the beloved TV puppet, not as the boy band heartthrob-turned-Grammy-winning solo artist and actor.

"I keep forgetting, when people ask to take our picture it's because I'm Ernie. It's not because I'm me," the star recalled. While Jones encouraged Justin to take off his mask and surprise the clueless crowd, Timberlake preferred to remain incognito while he could. "No way, dude. You have no idea what it's like. I can sometime walk around New York if I dress the right way, but that's it."

Justin even claimed, "You're witnessing one of the most memorable days of my life."

That is a disgusting picture. Bert and Ernie are for 3 and 4 year olds. Sesame Street should sue!

Sesame Street should take action for the inappropriate use of their characters,especially with the Playboy imagery.
There is plenty of adult humor to be had and we don't need to sully beloved children's characters with it.

WHAT does a Playmate have to do with Bert and Ernie? I am glad Justin Timberlake had a good day , BUT maybe he can use his influence to keep children's character's away from Playboy bunnies. What message are you sending? ?????????????

At least it works to dispel the rumors that Bert and Ernie are gay? Not to mention, this was at Comic Con, there's not a lot of Sesame Street age children walking around there.

Regardless of which way he goes, He's a slob. No wait, I don't want to down grade a slob. He"s a PIG and should be put into the Pig Troth along with the guy that took the picture and published it. In fact, You're both lower that Pigs. You are just plain good for nothing Pig Pig Pig OINK ! And Justin Timberlake should be arrested for pornography. No good for nothing pig.
