Demi Lovato Tells It Like It Is 'In Real Life' -- Exclusive Song Premiere

Demi Lovato lays it on us, telling it like it is in a new R&B-leaning track 'In Real Life' off her upcoming, highly anticipated third studio album, 'Unbroken,' out tomorrow (Sept. 20).

After giving us chills with lead single 'Skyscraper' and teasing out her Timbaland and Missy Elliott-assisted 'All Night Long,' Demi premieres 'In Real Life,' proving at 19-years-old, she has a voice and attitude beyond her years.

The comeback kid with a tumultuous past, which led to a recent stint in a treatment facility, apparently knows all about 'Real Life' as a young adult. Lovato sings about a deadbeat boyfriend who fails to fulfill her dreams and is disillusioned by the idea of a fairytale romance, until a real life man of her dreams shows up and turns it all around.

"But in my dreams I'm waking up to roses/ Champagne, kisses and I know it's always/ Always gonna be/ Gonna be this way/ In my dreams you're standing right beside me/ Two hearts finally collide/ And then I wake up/ And realize, realize, this is real life," Lovato sings.

Demi also treats her followers to a video fan letter, detailing how she rose from her struggles and addictions to turn her life around and make, what we're sure will be, a killer album. The 'A Letter to My Fans ...' video previews a snippet of another 'Unbroken' track, 'Fix a Heart.'

Demi has a great voice. Best natural vocal ability to come out of Disney since Aguilera.
