Pete Wentz Dating Model Meagan Camper

After estranged and soon-to-be ex-wife Ashlee Simpson made her red carpet debut with a new man, 'Boardwalk Empire' star Vincent Piazza, Pete Wentz is officially flaunting a new relationship of his own with leggy model Meagan Camper.

"They're dating but taking things slow," a source told People of the blossoming romance. The Fall Out Boy rocker and Camper met a little over a month ago in Los Angeles.

The source reveals Wentz, 32, was initially nervous about bringing a new woman into nearly three-year-old son Bronx's life. Bronx is mothered by Wentz's ex Ashlee, 26, who filed for divorce back in February after two and a half years of marriage.

"It's really new and they are taking it slow because there is a little boy at stake," the source revealed. "He didn't want to introduce Bronx to her if he didn't think she was a good girl." According to the source, Meagan "has met Bronx, so [Pete is] obviously comfortable with her."

"She's really sweet. He's in a really good place. He's excited to see where it goes," the source added.

I have one problem with this story, and it has nothing to do with the people in it. That is the loose use of the word "model" to describe random pretty girls to get across the idea of how pretty they are. "Model" is a specific job, not a condition. I llooked up this girl to see what runway shows she'd worked, what print ad campaigns she'd been in, what magazine she'd done editorial for — and nothing came up. Zip Zero. The only photos of her related to her public appearances with Pete Wentz. She's NOT a model. Google any REAL model and you will see hundreds if not thousands of shots from the work they've done. The media has a tendency to dub any girl a "model" if she's done so much as one unpaid appearance for a local charity. They did this with Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin too. She was constantly described as a "model," which she wasn't. She'd done a handful of shoots while in college but never pursued modeling as a career (However, you CAN find those shoots online). Media, stop it. There's something sort of degrading about using the word this loosely.

She is literally on american eagle's website. She has been modeling for years. I went to high school with her. hahah. She is seriously a model, though.

I was in Nashville to see a concert (Motley Crue) a while back in 2010. My boyfriend and I were in at "The Stage" when in walked a group of famous rockers!...including people from Nickelback, Hinder, and Fall Out Boy. Pete Wentz was with a blonde woman that DEFINATELY was not Ashlee Simpson Wentz. So trust me Meagan, he will do the same thing to you that he did to her. He's not a man, he's a piece of crap. He was married with a young infant, and instead of being at home with Ashlee, or having her by his side, he has some slut trying to destroy a marriage hanging on him like an animal that hadn't eaten in days! What a piece of s**t he is! You would think they would of at least been trying to be discreet but NO, she and he were all over each other. Sorry, Ashlee, but you can do WAY BETTER THAN THAT PIECE OF CRAP OF A MAN!!!

Here's what you about brining in someone new into your child's life....you don't, not until you have developed some time between relationships. He has only known this woman a month, he and soon to be ex need to put some time in this and worry about the child

Oh she is a beautiful young lady and I hope wonderfully nice to his son. Always thought Pete was a bit cute, laid back and nice to be with Ashley Simpson who seems like a trainwreck most of the time, or just real bitchy.
