Jack's Mannequin Move at the Speed of Light in 'My Racing Thoughts' Exclusive Video Premiere

Jack's Mannequin -- comprised of Andrew McMahon (vocals, piano), Bobby "The Raw" Anderson (guitar, backup vocals), Jay McMillan (drums) and Mikey "The Kid" Wagner (bass) -- have had a rise to fame has not come without its trials. In June 2005, frontman McMahon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia just months before the release of Jack's Mannequin's debut studio album. Since then, the singer has made a complete recovery and the band has gone on to release two studio albums, and on Oct. 4 drop their third studio effort, 'People and Things.'

McMahon praised the time-lapsed video's director telling AOL Music, "It was a joy working with Anders Rostad on the video for 'My Racing Thoughts.' He has the uncanny ability to make the ordinary look beautiful and I feel his approach to this video brought a whole new dimension to this song."
