Adele, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga All Score American Music Award Nominations

Adele finally has good news to cheer her up since having to cancel her US tour! It was announced today (Oct. 11) that the British songstress leads the pack of AMA nominations this year, scoring four noms for her second album, '21.' Adele's up for Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist and Favorite Album for her work on the critically acclaimed CD. Hot on Adele's heels are Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna and The Band Perry, who all scored three AMA nominations.

Voting has already opened for the viewer-chosen award show, with many eyes on the diverse New Artist of the Year category. Up for the award are Foster The People, Hot Chelle Rae, The Band Perry, Thompson Square, Marsha Ambrosius, Miguel, Wiz Khalifa and AOL Music Blog fave LMFAO.

To make your voice heard, head over to the AMA's web site to see the full list of nominees and to cast a vote for your favorite artists. The voting closes Friday, November 11 at 11:59PM pt, so spread the word to your musically-minded friends. Then, see if your picks take home any shiny trophies when the 39th annual American Music Awards air live this November 20 on ABC at 8/7c.
