Throughout 1963, the Beatles' popularity had been growing at a rapid pace. But many historians credit this night, back in '63, as the certified beginning of "Beatlemania." The super group had landed a coveted booking on 'Sunday Night At The London Palladium,' a popular variety show in England at the time. A whopping 15 million viewers tuned in to watch Paul, John, George and Ringo perform hits such as 'She Loves You,' 'From Me To You' and 'I'll Get You.' By the time Paul took the mic to introduce the final song, 'Twist And Shout,' he was drowned out by the screams of the adoring crowd.
