Jessie J Breaks Down Over Doctor's Orders

Brit pop star Jessie J had a veritable meltdown over some news that would crush any fashionista, or female who just likes to put a little oomph in her outfit, for that matter. Brace yourself ladies: Following her foot injury and surgery, Jessie's doctors told her that she is banned from wearing high heels ever again!

Jessie broke down in tears when doctors broke the news that she could never again put on a pair of high heels after she suffered a crippling foot injury, forcing her to scrap her remaining summer tour dates. Jessie spent the summer wearing a surgical boot and relying on her bedazzled crutches after breaking her foot in multiple places during concert rehearsals in June.

After finally having the cast removed in September, the 'Who You Are' singer is slowly recovering, but admits she feels "broken" by the experience and its aftermath. Jessie told Britain's Fabulous magazine, "I feel like a broken superhero. I want to go out and take on the world, but the bones in my foot don't want to make friends ... I cried when I was told that [I can't wear high heels].

Jessie continued, "I'm not the most curvaceous girl in the world and so heels make me feel sexy. And though I do love a trainer and a brothel creeper and a Dr. Martens boot, there are times when you need a heel! What about my wedding day?! And when I go out I might not get into clubs because they'll say, 'Nah, she's wearing trainers!'"

Jessie J's manager should be trying to get her into movies. She would be great in NCIS. She could play Abby's secret twin. They look so much alike. Besides, this will give JJs foot a rest. I bet she would be great!

Think of the soldiers out there putting their lives on the line everyday in Iraq and Afghanistan, now that is what I call sacrificing your life. A lot of these brave men and women have to have some part of their body amputated because of an injury they sustained while fighting in the war.

I broke both knees in an accident in '88, Maybe she'll want to compair pain stories some time. Bet I have her beat.

Get over it! I was in head collison 6 years ago and almost lost my foot. I can't wear heels ever again and I am in pain everyday. I am sure there are many other people out there facing the same problems, but bc she is famous we need to make a big deal about it.......Is this really news that we need to worry about?

I've never heard of this singer but honestly, she is in the entertainment business and it's all ego. She feels her "persona" will be affected without all the bling and she's probably right. Come on people, tell you that you would go to a concert if Madonna wore flats, no makeup, and stood up the sang without all the other people, etc. NOPE. You are all hypocrites.

I hope Jesse finds peace and another way to showcase herself and that she does get another opinion. But in the meantime, be careful that she doesn't re-injur herself.
