The speculation surrounding Jessica Simpson's pregnancy is growing just has fast as that loose-fitting sweater-swaddled baby bump. But as J-Sims refuses to announce said rumored pregnancy, more speculation is circulating as to why the singer is remaining so mum about her impending motherhood.

Allegedly, Jessica refuses to make an official announcement until a celeb gossip magazine offers up some serious cash for the statement. Just how much dough are we talking?

Reportedly, sources, including Jessica's dad Joe Simpson, have revealed that Jess and her fiance, former NFL star Eric Johnson, won't confirm anything until they have an offer of $500,000.

If she really is asking for half a million dollars just to confirm what everybody seems to think they know already, imagine how much she'll ask to spill the beans on the baby's gender!

This gets us wondering how much Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were offered from ABC to debut their twins on '20/20' tomorrow night (Oct. 21), or how much future Jayonce's first photograph will go for?
