Jessica Simpson Finally Addresses Pregnancy Rumors Via Twitter

Jessica SimpsonAP

After endless speculation about her pregnancy, Jessica Simpson has put the rumors to rest by confirming that she is indeed pregnant via Twitter!

"!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!!" she posted on her Twitter page late this afternoon (Oct. 31). While the link that follows the message fails to load due to an overload of traffic to the page, People reports that the link leads to a photo (left) of the pregnant pop star dressed as a mummy for Halloween on Jessica's official website. Jess is pictured holding her baby bump along with the message, 'It's true. I am going to be mummy.' What a clever and creative reveal!

In a "coincidental" turn, the overabundance of interest in Jess' link caused her web site to re-direct some of the overflow traffic to a page for Jessica's other new "baby" -- her new skincare line BeautyMint.com.

After no longer being able to hide her growing bump behind big designer handbags and sweater capes, J-Sims joins the pregnant pop star club with fellow first-time mamas-to-be like Beyonce, Hilary Duff and Dev.

Now all that's left to confirm is the gender of the baby, which has already been rumored to be a little girl. Congrats to Jess and her ex-NFL player fiance Eric Johnson!
