"My dad's sister Joanne died when she was 19. I wear a birth certificate of hers around my neck... I just feel very close to her. I actually pray to her [before every concert]... She died so young and she didn't get to live out the rest of her life, so I'm living it out for her."

Lady Gaga revealed a surprising spiritual side to the ladies of 'The View' while discussing the aunt she never met. LG's entire family is committed to keeping the memory of Joanne, who passed away from the auto-immune disorder Lupus, alive. In fact, Gaga's father Joe plans on opening a Manhattan restaurant named after his deceased sister in the upcoming months.
