The woman in question, Mariah Yeater, a California resident, has reportedly filed a paternity suit against the 17-year-old 'Baby' crooner, contending that she and Bieber had sex backstage after his concert, and that pop star is the now the father of her 3-month-old baby boy.
A representative from Bieber's camp responded to the allegations, telling TMZ that they will "vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
According to court papers obtained by Star magazine, Yeater has asked that Bieber take a paternity test in hopes that that he will "provide adequate support for my baby."
A court hearing is said to be set for later in the year. Meanwhile, Bieber joined his 19-year-old girlfriend Selena Gomez recently for moral support as she adopted a puppy, and his Christmas album 'Under the Mistletoe' dropped earlier today, featuring duets with Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey.
