Jessica Simpson Gives First Interview About Impending Motherhood

Now that the she's confirmed her expanding waistline is, in fact, a baby bump, Jessica Simpson is finally free to gush about impending motherhood. And in her first interview since revealing (via Twitter) her big news, Jess is as over-the-moon as expected.

Talking to Us Weekly, Jessica spills that both she and fiance Eric Johnson are counting down the days until they become first-time parents. "We're both thrilled," shares the singer-turned-fashion-mogul. "We can't wait to meet our baby!"

One thing Jess may not be thrilled about is the fact her November wedding had to be postponed due to the unexpected bun in the oven. As AOL Music reported this week, the surprise pregnancy threw a wrench into the couple's original wedding plans.

Until the baby makes it's debut, Jess is focusing on taking care of herself -- while keeping stylish, as per usual. "[Jessica's] been really tired lately," a source tells Us Weekly. "She goes to bed super early now and gets up at 5:30 in the morning." But, "The craziest thing is, she's still taking all her [business] meetings -- in heels!" laughs another friend of the star.

The reason here jaw is funny is that she is not use to not having food in her mouth- so talking without food is unusual.

I still think it's funny that she said she wants to have "a bunch of little Johnsons running around."

Based on her behavior after her divorce, I think she already did.

It seems to matter to you since you clicked onto the article to read. If it didn't matter to you wouldn't have read it. You do have a right to NOT click onto and read articles you know.

You know I've never been a big Jessica fan...she's just always seemed a bit dim and that chicken of the sea tuna or chicken thing awhile back didn't make her seem any smarter. Her and Nicks reality show - was an eye opener that she can't really cook, doesn't keep a clean house...clothes and stuff every where - made me think that maybe she really shouldn't be having kids...

But now that one is on the way, all you can do is hope that the baby will be loved and cared for and heck she has enough money to hire a cook, a housekeeper so whatever...

Just wish her & Eric and the new baby coming...happiness, health and love...our world is tough enough these days ...so don't make it worse, give her the benefit of the doubt that she will be a first time mother like all of us have been in the past...and you kind of learn as you go...so wish her the best!
