Jessica Simpson Reveals the Wild Way She Discovered Her Pregnancy

After finally admitting that she is indeed expecting her first child, mama-to-be Jessica Simpson has revealed how a champagne-fueled weekend getaway helped her discover that she was pregnant.

The pop star and entrepreneur told 'Access Hollywood' that she suspected something was up with her body while gearing up for a boozy weekend getaway with her fiance, Eric Johnson, and friends. While the couple was not trying to get pregnant at the time, Jess said, "I was just kinda feeling a little off before we went away for a weekend." She continued, "I wanted to make sure I was in the clear to have a couple of glasses of champagne. I was not in the clear."

Simpson then snuck away from her beau to go take an at-home pregnancy test in the bathroom. "I came in, like, shaking, like, 'Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, this is happening!'" Jess shared after the test came up positive. "We both cried ... We just sat there and stared at each other and were like, 'OK, we're doing this!'"

So, the couple is taking the unplanned pregnancy in stride, postponing their November 2011 nuptials until Jess' raging hormones quiet down. "When you're pregnant your hormones go crazy; I don't wanna be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla. So, I'll wait until after," J-Sims said of the wedding plans.

And how is pregnant life treating her? Besides the excess of flatulence, Jess claimed, "Pregnancy is a friend of mine, so everything has been running smoothly. So far so good, no morning sickness. I feel great. I'm tired but I'm making a baby."

The ultra-conservative young woman who would never think of having sex before marriage has now decided that she'll have her bastard child before getting married. Makes perfect sense to me.

The woman who was on national television claiming she didn't know if what she was eating was tuna or "chicken" because the label had "chicken of the sea" on it is now pregnant. Hhhmm, I pray for that baby. How was taking a home pregnancy test "wild"? Who has those just lying around their bathrooms anyway? Everyone I know who used them had to go out and buy them and only after getting sick, missing a period or had other obvious signs (yes even first time mothers) did they suspect they were pregnant and bought the test. No one I know has ever felt a "little off" and thought: OMG I might be pregnant, better run to the bathroom and find out.

So they were "not trying to get pregnant at the time" and when she "was just kinda feeling a little off" she immediately suspected she might be pregnant? If they weren't trying to get pregnant, why would she suspect she might be just because she felt off. Most people would just think they caught a bug. Oh, and she just happened to have an at-home-pregnnacy test in her bathroom at the time? Why would she have a pregnancy test in her bathroom if they weren't planning to get pregnant? If it truly is an unplanned/surprise pregnancy you wouldn't already have a test - you would have to go purchase one. Please, she "snuck away from her beau to go take an at-home pregnancy test in the bathroom". Do they really think any intelligent person is going to believe this? Her 15 minutes of fame were up years ago and now she is trying to get another 15 minutes hoping paparazzi will swarm all over her for her "unplanned" pregnancy. And how is this a "wild way" she discovered she was pregnant? She took an at-home pregnancy test - which is how the majority of women first learn they are pregnant. That is the only legitimate thing about this story, the rest of it is just phony.

Best Wishes, Jess and God help that child because although I'm sure she'll make a wonderful mother, but she is a bit of a ditz. She said she doesn't have plans for the nursery yet, but "It's going to be DANG cute!"

Good God, who cares? Slow news day? Who in the world wants to hear about some self-important person's flatulence? Keep this up, and I'm changing my homepage.
