Mariah Carey Disses 'Fake' Kim Kardashian

Subtlety was never Mariah Carey's forte. After all, the diva posed for a nude magazine cover shoot while pregnant and dramatically introduced the world to her children via national TV! MiMi, 41, added to her list of outlandish behavior today when she took a swipe at fellow celeb Kim Kardashian, 31, in front of an entire press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York.

At the press event, where the newly svelte singer was unveiled as the next spokesperson for Jenny (formally Jenny Craig), Mariah cracked, "I'm a real person, I'm not going to put on a fake face for Hollywood ... That's why [my husband and I] aren't divorced after four months."

Of course, Mimi was referring to Kardashian's recent decision to file for divorce from husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage. Critics have suggested that the made-for-TV relationship and multi-million dollar ceremony were a farce and part of one big publicity stunt.

Mariah's comment allegedly caused the crowd to engage in a collective gasp. Looking sheepish after her crack, Mariah said, "I'm sorry, I'm just saying." Mariah went on to reference her previous marriage to then-manager, music mogul Tommy Mattola. "You know, I had a situation in the past where I was controlled, and I was really young, and it affected the way I trusted people."

While it's unclear what the last comment has to do with her swipe and Kim, we smell a celebrity feud brewing!

i think mariah carey ought to pay alot more attention to her up and down career,and stop acting like the low class spoiled (star?)she thinks she is.who died and left her the rights to bad mouth anybody that has the misfortune to cross the middle aged mariah's path.
we enjoy our stars for their super abilties.i thought she'd have picked up some manners and humility by now,after her rehab stints.

mariah carey is as fake as they come and all her music sounds the same ! i really dont care for kim or her sisters but that carey chick thinks shes the sexiest woman on the planet the way she tries too glam herself and pushes her har back ! shes as plain as they come in the face and shes got fake teets so whos jealous of who here ! if you think shes a great singer all i have too say is you are very very easy too entertain !

Mariah Carey is an extremely talented, accomplished singer. Kim Kardashian is a girl with a pretty face and an extremely fat arse, a girl nobody could even look at without high-heels. Comparing the two celebs is like comparing chicken salad to to chicken crap.

Mariah doesnt have lots of room to talk about Kim but i have to AGREE with her. People call Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian talentless but in Paris' defense atleast she could act (a little) and she is FUNNY to watch. She will never win a grammy or an oscar but she has a LITTLE bit of talent. This Kim K. is TOTALLY USELESS :( I hate to say that but WOW... She is famous for gobbling up Ray J. on cam and .... thats it. Mariah is a little annoying with her diva attitude but atleast the woman has TALENT. Shes a great singer and looking amazing for 41!

Kim should point out that Mariah has a couple of seriously fake items on her that aren't fake on Kim.

I think besides Kim, Mariah is as fake as you could be. Every time she takes her hand and pushes back her hair I'd like to cut it off.
