Jennifer Lopez Breaks Silence on Reported New Boyfriend

Jennifer Lopez found herself fielding some serious love questions after news broke earlier this week that she's been allegedly seeing backup dancer, Casper Smart. The reported romance, one of her first since filing for divorce from her husband of seven years Marc Anthony, has tongues wagging around Hollywood -- especially since Casper is 24, the reverse age of the 42-year-old singer.

During a recent conversation with Ryan Seacrest, Lopez did open up ... slightly ... about her foray into dating, and the rules she now follows as a single mom looking for love. "Until I'm in a really serious relationship -- because of the babies -- I'm not really gonna be commenting on my personal life," the American Idol judge shared.

However, when Seacrest pushed further about her alleged new fling, J.Lo laughed. "What are you talking about? No, I'm a busy girl. I don't have time for all that!"

One reason J.Lo may be too busy to get serious with Casper, at least this weekend, is the upcoming American Music Awards. During the same Seacrest interview, Jennifer hinted she may be performing with Will.i.am and Mick Jagger at Sunday's big show.

Give the woman a break. She's very hard working and is multi-talented. Not many of you can admit to having her fame and talent and, therefore, are jealous and envious especially for a woman of her age. The production she did for the Music awards was incredible. It took millions of dollars for that performance and the audience loved it. Give the woman her due! As far as her marrriage is concerned, the latest that I heard was that Marc Anthony was unfaithful to her with Jada Smith. I don't hear too many of you condeming them! The performance was astronomical. Keep doing what you're doing, Jennifer!

Marc Anthony was too sophisticated for her. Her last video and that cheap dancing on Idol ...she is really like an over grown 14 year old from the block. She cannot seem to mature gracefully and evolve into a full fledged entertainer. She is very childish for a woman her age. Its unbecoming. I cant understand why she doesnt try to be more like Janet. Janet is moving through a career and becoming a grande dame something tacky JLo will never be.

oh yes..shes so busy alright.....trying to sell records, NO ONE wants....her clothes line is a disaster..and shes not the most popular on idol either....I think Shes her OWN fan...go away JO-LO..no one really cares...and i agree with everyones comment, her new Beau dos look like her soon to be x....yuk! ...
