Justin Bieber Paternity Suit Reportedly Dropped

It looks like Justin Bieber's paternity nightmare might be over. Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old who accused the pop sensation, 17, of fathering her baby, has allegedly dropped her paternity lawsuit against the star.

According to TMZ, the single mother of a four-month-old boy quietly withdrew her request for a paternity test and child support on Sunday (Nov. 13). News first broke of Yeater's claims and legal actions against Bieber at the start of this month (November). At the time, Bieber and his team quickly and vehemently denied the charges that he impregnated the then 19-year-old concert-goer backstage at one of his shows last year.

"I'd just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true. I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim," the accused announced on NBC's 'Today' on Nov. 4, addressing the baby mama drama. "Never met the woman," he added.

To prove his innocence, Bieber agreed to submit to a DNA test, while his lawyers threatened to take legal action against Yeater. Perhaps it was this threat that prompted the supposed baby mama to renege her own suit almost as quickly as she filed it.

Update: Yeater's lawyer, Jeffrey Leving, announced that the suit was dropped due to the barrage of death threats his client had received from Bieber's fans, and that they will continue to pursue a DNA test from Bieber outside of court. Leving issued the following statement: "I did not step down and there is a legal team. It's a new legal team. In light of death threats against my client, strategies have been reviewed. She believes Justin Bieber is the father. Right now there are no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I'm not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber's council and we're trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test with the same safe guards that would exist if there were a court order, but without a court order. The case is completely out of control and I don't want something terrible to happen to my client, or her child. My goal is that when the DNA test is completed, which I believe it will be, to keep everything confidential so the results will remain confidential."

No one said the young woman's claim is being dropped. Her lawyer said it would be handled out of the limelight in order to protect the girl and her child from aggressive Beiber fans who have threatened to harm her (death threats).
Please take note:
1. Another musician who had worked in some capacity with Justin B. claims that Justin refuted Yeater's paternity allegations, and he quoted Justin as saying, "That's not the way it happened...." (emphasis on the word "it," which would imply that something happened, and which would cast doubt on Justin's statement that he "never met" Yeater); I looked for the article and can no longer find it online.
2. The ex-boyfriend of Yeater was quoted in an online article as saying that it would have been impossible for him (the ex-boyfriend) to have fathered Yeater's child because he and she were not together during that month - October. According to the ex-boyfriend he told Yeater this at the time she fingered him as the father.
3. A picture was posted shortly after the story came out. It was a pic. of Yeater AND her lovechild.
I would just love to see some baby pics of Justin in order to compare them. Not saying this would provide proof of paternity one way or another, but it would be interesting nevertheless.

I don't care if she does drop the paternity suit, SUE THE CRAP OUT OF HER ANYWAY!!! Teach her, and
hopefully other mentally imbalanced ****** like her, that there are consequences for disrupting someone's
life with false legal action, not to mention he was underage at the time. She needs to be thrown behind bars
so she can contemplate her foul actions and possibly regroup and rethink her life. Women need to be harshly
punished when its discovered that their claims that some male fathered their kid is a lie! PUT THE BITCH IN
JAIL!!! Lets see if any of those lesbians can father a child of hers! I'm no "fan" of Bieber's, so I couldn't really
care less, but a case needs to be made to show that falsely laying fatherhood on someone is not a game or a
cute joke.

.....She dropped the lawsuit. What's the point in suing her? You must be one of Justin's groupies that sent her death threats. I mean, you just seem entirely too upset over this whole thing. Calm down.

To Steve Cutie Again: What do you think of this!!!

Mariah Yeater, the woman who filed a paternity suit against Justin Bieber alleging he impregnated her backstage at one of his concerts, seems to have been caught in a lie! TMZ has unearthed a series of text messages sent from the 20-year-old mom's phone disclosing the identity of the real father of her four-month-old son.

Yeater sent a text yesterday (Nov. 16) to a friend, begging him to erase an incriminating text in which Yeater's mother names someone other than Justin Bieber as the father of the child in question. "Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbie's son," the text message reads.

Yeater goes on to promise her friend a cut of her earnings that Bieber will supposedly pay her to stop the baby mama drama. "I'll kick you when we get paid ... I'm trusting you pleeease," she wrote, with the signature "Mariah Laci" at the end of each message. Laci is Mariah's middle name.

The recipient of Yeaters texts handed over his phone to TMZ, revealing the incriminating messages, and asked that his identity remain undisclosed. The friend has been in touch with Yeater regularly, before and after the birth of her child, and claims that the real baby daddy, Robbie, is Yeater's ex-boyfriend.

This development follow the news that Yeater has decided to drop the suit against Bieber, but will continue to press for a DNA test from the pop star outside of court.

An earlier text message sent by Yeater to the same friend back in August reads, "Would you please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in his son's life?" Busted!

Steve Cutie, where qre you getting your facts? At one point you say 5 million, then 10 million. 20,000 a month then 25,000. Who made you privy to confidential legal negotiations. As a law student, I find it hard that an agreement that was so recently reached, would be leaked to you of all persoans and not the national media. I could be wrong so please "justify" your assertions of a payoff. thanks

They agreed to 5 million dollars and $20,000 a month till the child turns 18. At that point the child will get an additional 20 million dollars.
That is the so called "SHE DROPPED THE LAW SUIT".
Being in a Rock Band I can only say it takes less than 30 seconds if need for the marching little sperm men to explode.
Now its over...and the world is quiet.
