Is Taio Cruz Dating Cheryl Cole?

As whispers grow louder that singer Taio Cruz has been hooking up with fellow Brit pop singer Cheryl Cole, the 'Hangover' singer speaks out to address the growing rumors.

The 28-year-old pop stars have been working together on Cheryl's third solo album ... totally innocent, right? But after Cole admitted to feeling "dippy" around Cruz -- American English translation: developing a bit of a school girl crush -- speculation of a romance between the two started circulating.

Taio has denied that he is dating Cole, while in the same breath admitting that he would love to. He told MTV News, "I really wish I was dating Cheryl Cole, but I'm not! Cheryl and I worked together in Los Angeles a few weeks ago -- we got about three new songs done."

So Cole is feeling "dippy" and Cruz is really wishing he had Cole on his arm. We smell a romance coming on!

Before being ousted as a judge on 'The X Factor' earlier this year, Cole ousted her soccer player husband of four years, Ashley Cole, filing for divorce in April 2010 after discovering he cheated on her.
