Even though Gaga has yet to drop her highly anticipated 'Marry the Night' music video off her 'Born This Way' album, but she's already planning for her next studio effort. The pop singer has written a new song for her upcoming album, and has managed to lock down iconic musician Elton John to join her on the track. Gaga told U.K. talk show host Alan Carr, "I haven't really duetted, with anyone and my next duet, I believe, will be with Elton."
"I'm already working on my next album and I played him a song that I wrote and he really loved it. I don't want to give anything [else] away!" Gaga revealed. Fan might remember that the pair previously teamed up for a live performance at the 2010 Grammy Awards, and also recorded a song, 'Hello Hello,' for the Elton co-produced animated movie, 'Gnomeo & Juliet.'
While Mother Monster remains semi-mum about the details of the upcoming Elton collab, she did admit to eyeing a duet with Chris Martin of Coldplay. Gaga revealed to Britain's The Sun, "I admire him immensely as a musician. He is completely brilliant. He has been to my Monster Ball a few times and I have always looked up to him."
"One of my favorite moments ever at a concert was when I was in college and he had just written 'Fix You' for Gwyneth [Paltrow]. They played it as the encore and I remember hysterically crying during the show," the pop star recalled. "It is some really amazing songwriting and he's a wonderful person. You never know, we might work together one day," she projected.
