VH1 Divas: Gym Class Heroes' Travie McCoy Joins List of Female Performers

On Dec. 19, VH1 Divas will celebrate soul with a star-studded line-up of talented divas including Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Florence Welch, Jennifer Hudson, Jessie J and Jill Scott. Additional performers set to hit the stage at the event were just announced, and it looks like a few "divos" will be joining the traditionally female roster for the show!

Following his performance at the 2011 AMAs, Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy will be tasked with holding it down for the dudes at the VH1 concert special. The 'Stereo Hearts' rapper is in the company of fellow added performers Chaka Kahn, Erykah Badu, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Estelle and Marsha Ambrosius.

Phew! That is a whole lot of girl power to be in the midst of -- but McCoy wont be the only one representing his gender at the concert. Boyz II Men will also hit the stage, while the Roots will serves as the house band for the night.

The special will pay tribute to the "soulful cities" that inspired the featured singers and will air on VH1 on Dec. 19 at 9PM EST.

Just another nasty talenless niggruh rapper. Rap is nothing more than fast talking ebonics that seldom makes sense but occasionally rhymes while ghetto music blares in the background. Instead of moving forward niggruhs have been regressing for the past 20 years. Its sad.

NOT ONE of the singers mentioned are DIVAS at all! They are all wannabees. Now Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, CHER, Madonna and singers of that caliber are DIVAS. But the group mentioned???????????? Far from it!
