Miley Cyrus Refers to Herself as a 'Stoner' at 19th Birthday Party

Earlier this week, Kelly Osbourne told E! News she was planning on making pal Miley Cyrus' 19th birthday bash "the sickest thing she's ever seen in her life." In doing so, Ozzy's daughter might have inadvertently given her good bud another media scandal.

During the party, held Wednesday (Nov. 23) at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, friends presented Miley with a cake decorated with a likeness of Bob Marley. It seems this might have had little to do with the erstwhile Hannah Montana's fondness for reggae music.

"You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake," Miley can be heard saying in a video captured by The Daily and posted on TMZ. "You know you smoke way too much f---ing weed."

"I thought salvia was your problem," Kelly joked, referring to a December 2010 incident in which Miley was caught on tape hitting from a bong. The singer and actress denied the substance inside was marijuana and insisted it was salvia, a hallucinogen legal in California for those over 18.

Miley's reps have yet to respond to TMZ's requests for comment, but Osbourne took to Twitter to clear her friend's name.

"u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner!" she tweeted. "#think"

She should go to a Doctor and get a legal prescription and at least she'll be covered in a few states (CA). If you admit it publicly, they will make it a big deal. Ask Willie Nelson, he'll tell you...
Better to be just a doper, than a lying doper!
She's about a good of a role model as is Rihanna. That's when the parents need to communicate with their children, because ultimatley, the parents are the role models.

Willie Nelson is a stoner, and he has had a long robust career. Amy Irving was a stoner and still managed to snag Steven Spielberg. Lots of stoners out there...look at Josh somebody who was in Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck.
So Yes, Miley can be a stoner, think its cool, and still get up on stage and be stupid while getting paid big bucks to flaunt her big gums and pretend to sing.

She is an adult & has the right to make whatever choice in life she would like. It was a bad decision of her to state she was a "stoner" because it is still illegal to smoke weed in this country. As for the comments saying she is a role model... she was. As a parent you can allow your children to look up to certain girls or women but when you feel they are going down the wrong path it is your job to steer them in the right direction. The ultimate role model for a child is their own mother or father, don't place blame on stars like Miley.

i know for a fact she smokes weed because i have friends in the "hollywood scene" that have smoked with her... but everyone just needs to get over it as long as she has her life together who honestly cares? i know some very successful people that smoke a lot of weed and i know some complete losers that dont.

poor misguided child. i never have and never would smoke that ****. i know tons of people who are on it and are complete idiots who think they know everything cant stand them anymore. she is supposed to be a role model for young girls. she needs to get some advice from Hilliary duff now that is a woman young girls should still look up too

Who cares if she smokes weed. That girl has worked hard since she was a little girl, she deserves to do whatever she wants. If she wants to indulge in a harmless substance, such as marijuana, she should be able to do so without the press making her look like she's a drug addict. Focus more on the real junkies, like Lindsay Lohan & The Olsen twins. Notice how she's still pretty and healthy looking unlike the rest of them? Her drug of choice is a good one.
