Hanson has already shown us that they can party with the best of them in Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' music video. Now, the band of brothers are planning to produce their very own IPA beer!

Isaac, 31, Taylor, 28, and Zac, 26, are in the process of developing an Indian Pale Ale, which they plan to release in early 2012. The best part? Their going to name the new beverage 'MMMHop,' after the 1997 hit song that made them famous, 'MMMBop'! Yes, really.

Speaking at an event at Oxford University Union on Monday night (Nov. 28), youngest Hanson brother Zac reportedly announced, "We of course make records, they are fundamental to what we do, but we wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience."

Zac continued, "It's vital our fans have trust in everything Hanson do. In fact we are soon going to be selling our own beer, I'm not even joking. MMMHop IPA anyone?"

Hanson are accomplished artists and have come a long way. The youngest is like 26 but in his lifetime he has made 8 studio albums. In 2003, when Zac was 17/18, Hanson decided to leave major record label Island Def Jam due to artistic differences. The label was more concerned on making huge, money-making hits during the album development process -- Hanson just wants to make music. Their interests did not align...Hanson decided to leave Island and after that, Arista Records and another major label offered them a deal, but Hanson declined the offers. They decided to go on their own. They put up their own record company at around the ages 18, 21 and 23...So they can have the creative freedom, and not please producers and big record company bosses first... Hanson is music first, and business second. They really are passionate and talented musicians.

Their 2004 Underneath album, the first album they released under their own record label, became number One in the Billboard Independent Charts. Imagine if THEY WERE UNDER A MAJOR RECORD LABEL - they could've almost limitless marketing and promotion resources at their hands in order to gain more popularity and earn more profits...

But at young ages of 18, 21 and 23, Hanson made crucial decisons and went indpendent and put up their own record label. They are the captain of their ship...The Underneath album has amazing songs, check t out...Here are more recent music from them throughout the years! "Been There Before" is like a hidden gem!!!

I love these snippets. A bit of silliness to counteract all the depressing news out there. I'll be giggling about this until the next missing kid article.
