'X Factor' Judges Death Threats: Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul Targeted After Drew Elimination

'The X Factor' fanatics have turned on judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul after their votes cost 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz her future on the reality competition show.

On elimination night (Dec. 1), Drew joined contestant Marcus Canty and Astro onstage to sing her "save me song." Earlier in the week, the three singers' performances were the lowest ranked amongst the contestants. The elimination decision was then up to the judges and Nicole and Paula, who decided to give Drew the boot. Drew's mentor Simon was visibly furious with his co-judges' decisions and stormed off, refusing to comment on the shocking elimination on stage as he hugged the sobbing teen.

But the wrath of Simon is proving to be the least of Nicole and Paula's problems. Both judges have been the victims of vicious death threats from Drew's loyal fans. "F--- you paula you dumb c--- you voted off the most talented person on your f---ing show. i hope you die you DUMB B----." one angry fan posted to Twitter.

"@NicoleScherzy @paulaabdul go die," another fan posted. Yet another Drew supporter wrote, "@PaulaAbdul and @nicolescherzy you two deserve all the hate. You both made a selfish decision and should be ashamed of yourselves!!"

Sources on the show have revealed that Nicole and Paula are shocked by the barrage of hateful messages, having never before received such backlash following an elimination.

i like to alica keys take nicole place. nicole is a drama queen not a judge every vote she makes she has to look at reid to see if its ok . if she still on xfactor next year im not going watch that show no more

When you see a story like this it just proves a couple of facts!
A There are way to many people unemployed with absolutely
nothing to do and have nothing but time on their hands
B Most of these people are still living in their mommy and daddy's
basement attic barnyard or trailer

You are so right. On the other hand, the bickering among the judges is so ridiculous that someone should kill the show.

I agree---it's so ridiculous. The way the judges are fighting amongst themselves takes the emphasis off what the show is about. All of these people have a tremendous talent and it should be left up to the voting of the people, not the judges. Ridiculous the way Simon stomped off---like he is King of talent. What a role model he is -NOT. He knocks everyone else that he is not mentoring but cannot take criticism back. Drew was good but so is Marcus. Myself--I preferred Marcus in the sing-off. Drew has a future regardless. Get a grip is right!!!

The bickering is just for show. Seriously, when they did the audition episodes, there was an entire episode dedicated to LA and Simon. Then it was Nicole and Simon. Everyone knows Simons attitude. Remember how they said Paula and Simon would bicker on American Idol? If they hated each other, then why did he put her on his show, and why can't they keep their hands off each other while SITTING NEXT TO EACH OTHER? Everything is planned out. If there is a small fight, they play it up for more drama.

Drew was a better singer on the sing off then Marcus. This is twice the judges got it wrong. They say sing to save yourself, but have their minds made up before then! Astro shoould have never been saved either. He NEVER sang, just rapped. At the least, they could have let the audience.

I think these shows are getting out of hand. It seems that there is to much emphasis being put on the judges and their bickering between each other every week. They tend to chose or not chose talent based on who or what will tick off or please their fellow judges, rather than base their decisions on the contestants ability, which by the way, is what the show is suppose to about. Drew was the only contestent left that had a distinguished voice. You can close your eyes and listen to the final contestents and they sould like anybody else out there.
