Estefan may be 53 years old, but that doesn't mean she can't still work it in front of the camera like models half her age. The Cuban-born singer has joined the modeling industry elite to work on a series of video and fashion projects along with Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie and Brit-born singer/rapper Estelle.
Besides her natural beauty, Wilhelmina Models executive Sean Patterson was eager to sign Gloria because of her charisma and charm as well. In an interview with the New York Post's Page Six, he gushed about the Queen of Latin pop, "She's truly an icon and we see tremendous opportunities for her in the fashion and beauty world."
While you wait for Ms. Estefan to make her Wilhelmina modeling debut, be sure to catch her as a guest star on upcoming episodes of 'Glee.' Rumor has it, she'll be playing Santana's mom, while Ricky Martin will be playing McKinley High's newest Spanish teacher!
