Lambert, who was in Helsinki to spend Christmas with Finish-native Sauli, was arrested along with his boyfriend after the two began fighting inside popular club DTM (Don't Tell Mama). According to reports, the duo began quarreling in the backroom of the bar and were kicked out by management. The fighting didn't stop there, and the police were called after the brawl took a violent turn outside in the street.
Petri Juvonen, who is heading up the police investigation into the event, told the Hollywood Reporter that Lambert and Koskinen were arrested around 4 a.m. and face up to a total of four possible assault offenses.
Joining Lambert and Koskinen during their violent night out was Sofia Ruusila, an ex-Miss Helsinki. After the events, she told a Finish entertainment show that she'd tried to break up the fight between the couple, but was accidentally hit by Adam in the process!
Adam and Sauli were released Thursday afternoon, and seem to be working on mending their rift. Sauli later tried to put the entire event in perspective after his arrest by blogging afterward: "Celebrities are people too and fame is not easy. Love is not always easy either, but it's forever."
Update: Adam just tweeted his take on last night's events: "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)"
