"My parents got into a car accident today," Patti tweeted late yesterday. "They flipped into a ditch & totaled the car but thank God they are alive!"
"My dad has broken ribs," she continued. "Plz pray 4 him 4 quick healing! Count your blessings & forgive ur parents always. U never know what tomorrow holds!!!"
Kees Wijnands, Media Relations Officer for Perth County Ontario's Provincial Police Department, tells HollywoodLife.com more about the Dale's brush with automotive tragedy: "[They] were down one of the concession roads. It's paved. They were heading east bound on that road. It was slushy snow. They got caught in the slush and it sucked them into the ditch."
"As a result, the vehicle, a small SUV rolled," continued Wijnands. "They weren't going very fast. They got in the ditch and rolled. The vehicle hit some trees and shrubbery. It rolled and landed back on its wheels. The airbags deployed. They were seat belted in. Bruce was driving. Bruce was taken to Stratford General Hospital with minor injuries as a precaution. Diane was OK."
Before the accident, Justin had been enjoying the holidays with his family in Stratford, Ontario. "Spending time with family-feels really good. Going to get to see these smiles on Christmas," Bieber wrote on his own Twitter page.
This scarey incident comes on the heels of more bad news in Justin's social circle. Earlier this month, Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez experienced her own family drama after her mother suffered a miscarriage.
