Katy Perry, Russell Brand Divorce Rumors Rage as Couple Steps Out Sans Wedding Rings (PHOTO)

After Katy Perry and Russell Brand spent Christmas apart following a reported "massive fight," the couple now is adding fuel to the fire of the relentless divorce rumors. Both Katy and her husband was snapped by the paparazzi without their wedding rings on in the past few days.

Perry, 27, and Brand, 36, tied the knot a little over a year ago in October 2010, but the couple have been forced to battle divorce speculation in the past months. It seems their rumored marital troubles have come to a head, as new paparazzi photos capture Katy's husband out and about noticeably missing his wedding band (see the photo after the jump).

This past October, reports surfaced that the couple were planning to spend the Christmas holiday "reconnecting" during a second honeymoon in India. Instead, Katy hit the beach in Hawaii with a group of friends, while Russell returned to his native England for the holidays. In the video of Katy below, you can clearly see the star frolicking in the waves, sans wedding ring.

When prompted to address the divorce rumors on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' earlier this month, Brand insisted, "I've treated the whole Internet now as a wicked little liar ... I am really happily married." Sadly, it's looking like that might not be the case.

Although I don't particularly like Katy Perry's music, I'm sorry to hear that her marriage is ending. It's very sad. She may have been involved in the occult. Some years ago Katy Perry had said in an interview that she sold her soul to the devil, apparently to advance her singing career. I don't know if she was serious or joking about this. If Satan is real, -- I think that he is -- then he doesn't care whom he destroys or how this is accomplished, only that people's private lives, souls, relationships, and peace of mind are ultimately ruined. Maybe Old Scratch himself wanted to break up their marriage. Katy Perry's parents are religious, but she doesn't seem to be. I have been married for 39 years, and in all that time my spouse and I have been faithful to each other. We have strong religious convictions. We are Bible-believing, church-going Christians, who would not care to get involved in the occult. I would suspect that Kurt Cobain is in hell, albeit he was very violent. I hope that Katy Perry doesn't follow him there, due to a supernatural contract.

Sounds like they have a lot of time apart from each other, rather then work on the marriage. It does not help that there is a big age difference. The few times I have seen him on TV being interviewed he seems to be a bit odd and antsy in his own world.

It seems like more and more "celebrity" couples get married now days and have very short marriages, they must be in love with the idea of the wedding, more then the commitment that a marriage entails. IT is sad in a way, but for some of these couples it seems planning the wedding is longer then the actual marriage.

lets see how many women and children have been killed in the past 7 days in the course of violent acts? How many dies due to flooding in the Phillipines? How many people could not afford to give theri children gifts or food for Christmas?
Why are some people obsessed with stories of this nature? My neighbor down the street and his wife seperated but it is not on tv or all over the internet...

If you want to be depressed go ahead and read about murders and sears. It is Xmas rtime and we do not want to hear about all that crap. This crap is entertainment. Take your antidepressant and go to bed, the rest of the world does not need to be depressed ,it is Xmas and New Years time.
