Isn't it funny how you can listen to a band day in and day out, but not actually know why the heck they're called what they're called? It's easy to take the band's strange name for granted because, well, you love them so much! We here at AOL Music got to wondering about the mysterious origins of some our favorite bands' names after Snow Patrol came for an In House visit a few weeks back. So we started digging, and not only uncovered how the 'Chasing Cars' group got their moniker, but unearthed stories on why bands like U2, No Doubt and Coldplay are called what they're called.
