As the actor/comedian prepped to embark on a mini tour of U.S. colleges, he filmed a homemade promo video and uploaded it onto YouTube under the account "RussellBrandStandUp" on Nov. 14. The British funnyman predicted that his upcoming American college experience would mark "a week of revolution."
"I am going to meet people from sororities and fraternities. I don't know what a sorority is except for what I have seen on Nudevista -- that they are sort of sex clubs for women," Brand, a former sex addict, joked. The comedian then proceeded to take off his wedding and and show it to the camera. "I'm just going to place this somewhere very, very safe for the next week," Brand said.
Russell made no other reference to his marriage to Katy in the video, and it's hard to tell if the wedding band prank was really just a joke, or Brand foreshadowing his next move. Either way, the video has taken on a whole new meaning since Katy and Russell revealed that they were heading to splitsville.
