Bruno Mars Cocaine Case to Be Dismissed

It looks like Bruno Mars has dodged a bullet -- or should we say a 'Grenade'! The singer, who was arrested for cocaine possession in September 2010 will reportedly have his criminal record wiped clean by a judge and the charges dismissed.

Mars was caught red-handed with a bag of 2.6 grams of coke in the bathroom at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas back in September 2010. Despite telling the police he never used drugs before, the singer plead guilty to felony cocaine possession in exchange for no jail time and the possibility of having the charge wiped from his record after a year of community service.

According to TMZ, Mars has surpassed his 200 hours of community service, spending 230 hours working for children's charities and health-related charities. He has also completed drug education classes. Reportedly, the judge will officially dismiss the cocaine charge tomorrow (Jan. 18).

Mars famously spoke out about the drug bust in an interview with GQ, insisting, "I'm a f---ing musician!" Thankfully, he followed up the questionable justification with, "But I've learned people are watching, so don't do nothing stupid."

Do you think Bruno's punishment was harsh enough to tech him a lesson?
