At age 17, Selena became the youngest-ever ambassador for the United Nations program. She has traveled with the program to Ghana and Chile and helped bring issues like the need for clean drinking water, better health care and childhood education to the attention of the media back in the U.S.
Now 19, the singer/actress is continuing her work with the organization by putting her talents as a performer to good use for an excellent cause -- and she's making sure her man does too! A Hollywood Life source reported: "Justin will be a surprise guest at Selena's concert. UNICEF is really important to Selena and Justin knows this."
It wont be the first time Bieber has made a surprise appearance at one of his leading lady's shows. The smooth operator shocked both Selena and her screaming fans when he stepped onto the stage during one of her summer concerts and proceeded to serenade her.
Allegedly JB will continue to support Selena's endeavors by traveling to be with his main squeeze during the South American leg of her tour. "Even though he's in the studio right now working on his album, Justin's going to make time to go down to South America," the insider claimed. "Plus, they love traveling together."
