Mariah Carey Weight: Chelsea Handler Disses Singer

As reported by The BoomBox, during an interview with Howard Stern on Monday (Jan. 23), comedienne Chelsea Handler lashed out at Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon, with whom she has traded insults in the past.

The beef between Handler and the 'Fantasy' singer began when the 'Chelsea Lately' star fired shots at Cannon during her opening monologue at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, then followed with another salvo shortly after, tweeting, "I just heard nick cannon is starting a comedy tour. Who's going to do the comedy?"

Despite her husband's obvious umbrage, Carey later appeared on Handler's show to promote her 'Merry Christmas II You' holiday album, but well over a year later, Handler is still making jokes at the couple's expense.

"Anyone who's married to Mariah Carey, I'm pretty sure doesn't have a great sense of humor," Handler joked on Stern's SiriusXM show Monday. "I mean, let's be honest, she's ridiculous. What is her game plan? What kinda person operates like that?"

Handler went on to ridicule the mother of twins over her recent weight loss, comparing her to Elizabeth Taylor, whose weight similarly fluctuated throughout her career.

"She's worse than Elizabeth Taylor. She's just so ridiculous with her body. You see her one day and she's like 50 pounds heavier or lighter, I mean what is she doing?" Handler continued. "I don't even understand what hemisphere people like that operate in. There's nothing real about her and her Hello Kitty whatever."
