"We are together," Derulo tells PEOPLE Magazine. "She lives in Phoenix and she comes [to Miami] and takes care of me, brings me breakfast in bed and she'll go on walks with me. We've gotten closer because of my accident. It's awesome to have someone you can talk to and she's a wonderful person."
For any fans who follow the couple on Twitter, it was obvious from the start that they had an undeniable chemistry and connection. Even before they made their love official, Sparks was calling Derulo the affectionate term 'Boo' while he was calling her "Love."
With Jordin's support, Derulo admits he's on the mend and hopeful for a speedy recovery. "I'm taking it one day at a time," Derulo says. "It's been really eye opening. It's given me a chance to look at everything and realize how blessed I truly am."
