'Glee's tribute to Michael Jackson last night (Jan. 31) featured the students of McKinley High embodying MJ's spirit and artistry through their covers of such songs as 'Black or White,' and 'Bad.' "MJ week" was so poignant, in fact, that it brought the late King of Pop's sister La Toya Jackson to tears!

While it wasn't the first time 'Glee' has honored Michael by covering his songs and imitating his famous costumes and music videos, last night's episode was the first time every single musical performance was a remake of an MJ hit. After securing the legal rights to feature MJ's songs, show creator Ryan Murphy received the blessings from the singer's family to move ahead with the special episode.

And it was a success! Michael's sister La Toya was so moved by the episode that she shared her emotional reaction on Twitter. "This show #Glee of #MJGLEE makes me cry I realize how much I miss my brother and how extremely talented he was!!!" she wrote.

La Toya then thanked the cast of the show for their hard work and love of Michael. "I wish to thank the cast of @GLEEonFOX #Glee for performing an incredible job on your tribute to #Michael on #MJGLEE It was much appreciated."
