LMFAO Super Bowl Concert Disaster: 11 Fans Injured in Massive Crowd Crush

Just a couple of days before hitting the Super Bowl halftime show for a much buzzed-about live collaboration with Madonna, LMFAO staged their own concert in Indianapolis, Ind. Unfortunately, the free, pre-Super Bowl live show on Friday (Feb. 3) got way out of control and sent nearly a dozen concertgoers to be treated for injuries as a result of crowd crush.

'Party Rock Anthem' singers SkyBlu and Redfoo know how to get their shuffle on, but apparently their 50,000 fans did not have sufficient room to do the same! The concert attendees crowded the streets to watch the duo's performance and according to Indianapolis Public Safety Director Frank Straub, most of the injured suffered shortness of breath, or scraped knees from being pushed to the ground.
Attendee Kaitlyn Blacha told the Associated Press, "At times, I was pinned so tightly I didn't even have to hold my body up. Nobody could turn back. We were just stuck."

Super Bowl Host Committee spokeswoman Dianna Boyce brushed off the incident, saying, "It looked like a lot of people having a good time. When you have 200,000 people, you have to continue to keep everyone safe."

The episode follows another recent LMFAO live show disaster. At least 15 concertgoers had to be treated for smoke inhalation after the group's stage caught on fire during a concert in Honduras back in December. Be careful, party rockers!
