Madonna certainly wowed the Super Bowl crowd with a halftime performance medley of her classic hits and new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin.' But on the night before the big game, it was the Super Bowl's National Anthem singer, Kelly Clarkson, who brought down the house with her cover of Madge's 'Crazy for You.'

Kelly, who was performing at the Riverdome in Bossier City, La., surprised the audience when she broke into Madonna's 80s' slow jam -- a tune she said was "like a couples' skate song!" When she was done, Clarkson admitted that just hearing the tune brought memories of her teen years. "I was totally at the Burleson skating rink thinking of Michael Webb," joked the singer.

We think Kelly's rendition of 'Crazy for You' might just be better than the original. Watch the video below and tell us what you think!

Kelly did great, but I love the classic. I can "FEEL" Madonna's version - maybe it's just nostalgia. Kelly's version is a bit more folksy. Madonna's is Pop royalty. But then, one was done in the studio and the other live. So...a thumbs up to both.
