Rihanna, Chris Brown Grammy Performances: Whose Dance Set Was Best? (VIDEO)

Leading up to the Grammy Awards tonight, much had been speculated about both Rihanna and Chris Brown's respective performances. After all, the former couple's connection with the Grammys was forever marred by the domestic violence scandal that led both to cancel their performances back in 2009.

But tonight (Feb. 12), both returned to the Grammy stage with two very dance-centric performances. While Chris Brown chose to pretty much lip-synch his entire performance and focus on his dance movies alone, Rihanna sang her way through most of her performance (with a few off-key moments) while being accompanied by tons of back of dancers.

We were pretty impressed by both artist's dance moves ... so much so that we put together a video of their respective performances for your viewing pleasure. Watch below then vote on who you thought rocked it harder!

Disgusting having them together on this site and even writing about and comparing their performances is demeaning to Rhianna , her talent and rightful place on the Grammy stage where he should never have been invited!

Chris Brown beat his girlfriend to a bloody pulp, left her alone in the car to get a head start on his p.r. strategy, served no jail time, paid no meaningful consequences, never directly apologized, and threw a series of massive temper tantrums whenever anyone had the temerity to ask about the violent crime he committed against his girlfriend. It's disgusting that he still has a career, let alone the opportunity to share a stage with the woman he beat.

They were both terrible. Lip sync really shows a lot about a "singer".

i loathe Chris Brown. He shouldn't have even been allowed on stage. At least they kept Bobby Brown away from it. He would have made sure the moment was all about himself.

It's time for all these folk to face the fact that Michael Jackson is gone, and there won't be another. There's only one Michael, and it sure ain't Chris [one-move-over-and-over-by-my-count] Brown.

See the difference is that they cancelled their performances in 09 for very different reasons; she was in the hospital, he was in handcuffs. I'm not saying that he shouldn't have a career, but he shouldn't be offered a performance slot at the Grammys based on conscience alone.
