With the death of Whitney Houston fresh in the minds of the music industry, tonight's 54th Annual Grammy Awards have taken on a somber tone. While on the red carpet, several stars reacted to the news of Houston's death in an array of shock and denial.

"It's a horrendous, horrendous loss," Roots drummer Questlove told reporters while Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was at a loss for words saying "She affected everybody. She's unbelievable. She's Whitney-freaking-Houston."

"All of that is crazy, I don't like it. I don't appreciate it," singer Kelly Price tells MTV of Whitney Houston's alleged "disheveled" nature the evening before her death. Price also revealed to E! News that she'd hoped her friend's death was simply an internet hoax.

Im honestly somewhat upset that someone had to sneak a picture of Whitney in order for her fans to see her. We're the ones who made her famous , what is a celebrity without fans ? NOTHING! I understand that the family maybe upset but you all weren't the only ones supporting Ms.Houston , Im just saying(:
