Read on to see Christina's top V-day picks -- and don't forget to catch the singer live this spring -- Perry announced today she's kicking off a U.S. tour on April 30!
'I Will' by the Beatles: This is my favorite Beatles song. I think it's the purest love song in the world. Sir Paul breathes in love songs, not breaths.
'Only Trust in Your Heart' by Dean Martin: Dean Martin is the voice I imagine God sounding like. This song is an anthem for every single person to live by and I am a follower of the heart.
'Real Love' by John Lennon: John Lennon sounds like a child here... this is the most innocent love song on the planet.
'Your Song' by Elton John: This song makes it all okay -- whoever you are, whatever you do -- to give a song as a gift to someone. We all think it's about us and that it's ours, and in fact, it is.

'I Put a Spell on You' by Nina Simone: Nina is a goddess of love sounds. This song makes me hope and pray she has actually drugged me. It's timeless.
'First Day of My Life' by Bright Eyes: This song makes me feel 12 again. It lights up the darkest corners of my heart and cleans my love slate. It's love at first sight. It's sharing the same spaghetti noodle love.
'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz: Jason can sing love right into my heart whenever it's missing. This song made the world stop and fall in love with someone. It will be a classic. Forever.
'All My Stars Aligned' by St. Vincent: St. Vincent is a genius. She took love and made it poetry. This song is how the inner workings of a brain might rationalize what love is.
'Us Against The World' by Coldplay: This is my favorite song of 2012. I cannot stop listening to it. It's what I want to feel for the rest of my life. "Through chaos and swirls" I want to live in this song.
'Falling Slowly' by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova: This song and its melodies and harmonies are what a real relationship sounds like. Its swims into your heart and holds you to sleep.
'Turning Page' by Sleeping at Last: Ryan O'Neil has quickly become my favorite lyricist. This song actually makes my heart ache ... in a good way. In that "absolutely tragic I don't have it yet, but I know it exists somewhere" way. I will search forever to find the person this song is about.
'Don't You Remember' by Adele: Queen Adele sings this already classic sounding masterpiece about the ending of that love that never lets you let go. This is a sad song that hurts so good. The chorus is heaven.
'I Feel the Earth Move' by Carole King: Thank you Carole. This is exactly how I feel about every single person who steals my heart again and again. I'll never get tired of "when you look at me that way".
'Lover You Should've Come Over' by Jeff Buckley: Quite possibly one of the best songs ever written, recorded and sung. Whoever this song was about, I hope never forgave themselves for not going over, but we should thank her for giving Jeff this to give to us.
