Katy Perry is marching on since her split from husband Russell Brand in late December -- literally! The songstress has been filming the music video for her new hit breakup song 'Part of Me' and has been spotted sporting a cropped black 'do and U.S. army attire on set.

According to Perez Hilton, Katy is shooting the military-themed video at Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif., and in one photo that has found its way online, is seen standing next to male soldiers in her camouflage army uniform. Another snapshot features Perry standing in a a department store in the same get-up, while a third shows her in a pool, riding piggyback on a male soldier.

Earlier this week, the newly single singer took to her Twitter page to reveal she was set to film the video for the 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection' single. "Holy power of the Grammys, Part Of Me is already top 10 on itunes! U guys are killing it! NICE! Can't wait to shoot this video! #grateful," she wrote.

Katy was, of course, crediting her powerful post-split performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards last weekend (Feb. 12) for the song's success. The performer took the live performance opportunity to change a few lyrics in the song and diss her estranged and soon-to-be-ex-husband. "Keep your diamond ring" she shouted while belting out the breakup anthem.
