'The Star Next Door,' developed by 'The Biggest Loser' creator Dave Broome, will be produced by Latifah's own Flavor Unit Entertainment along with CBS' Raquel Productions and 25/7 Productions. We're guessing that means Queen will be the tough-love judge to impress on the star-studded panel!
'The Star Next Door' joins the already crowded singing competition show roster, but we know one competitor who will welcome Latifah and crew with open arms. 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell recently commented on his fellow talent shows in an interview with AOL Music, saying, "It spurs all of us on. I love competition. I really do -- apart from when we lose, then I don't like it!"
We'll have to wait and see how 'The Star Next Door' holds up against the competition when it debuts this summer!
