The new suit against Kingston claims the star and his group of friends attacked a woman after a concert in 2010. At the time, Sean was the opening act for teen idol Justin Bieber -- a close and personal friend of the Jamaican-born artist.
A California private investigator served the 22-year-old singer with papers at LAX, but when reached for comment by RadarOnline, only said he "was at the airport on official business."
This new lawsuit comes almost one year after Sean was dealt another bout of bad luck. Many fans will remember that on Memorial Day 2011, Kingston was almost killed in a jet skiing accident in Southern Florida. At the time, there was talk that Sean's jet ski passenger, Cassandra Sanchez, may also file a lawsuit against the star for his reckless driving in the water craft. However, Sanchez opted against filing suit saying: "I know this whole thing was just an accident. I won't be pressing any type of charges or hiring a lawyer. Sean is a good guy."
