Gino DePinto, AOL
The once-troubled 29-year-old -- a recovering drug and alcohol addict who auditioned for the 'X Factor' after just 70 days of sobriety -- told AOL Music he wrote the new track after turning a major page in his life. "At that point I had an apartment, I had a job and a car. I was clean and I had my son and life was good," the father of 3-year-old Ryan revealed. "I wrote the song in case people were having a bad time, or in case I was having a bad time -- this would hopefully lift me back up and bring positive light to the situation," he explained.
