As reported by The Boombox, Whitney Houston's official cause of death has been revealed. The singer died Feb. 11 due to "drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use," according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office. The manner of death was also ruled an accident.

The toxicology report for the 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' chanteuse details that "cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to the death. Marijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified but did not contribute to the death."

Houston's autopsy was conducted Feb. 12, the day after she passed away. Capt. John Kades of the Los Angeles County coroner's office revealed that at the time of her death, no indications of foul play and no obvious signs of trauma on Houston's body were present.

R.I.P. Whitney!!!! I always remind myself that we all at times miss the mark; that being said, I try to focus more on good qualities in people. Despite what happened, cause of death, what have you; we have no idea what Whitney was dealing with in life. Until you have walked in a person's shoes; disregard the shoe thing; no one has a right to judge anyone besides GOD. There's a saying; don't cast stones at people when you live in a glass house yourself. We all have flaws, we all make mistakes, and we are all human. Instead of tearing people down; why not take the time to build them up; for we never know when we may need someone to lift us up as well. Whitney Houston was a great singer and her music touched so many of our lives; so instead of looking at her faults, why not look at her achievements and the good things and thrive on that. Again my sincere condolences goes out to the Houston/Brown families, fans, friends, etc. Keeps your heads up, stay focused on the great gifts that GOD allowed Whitney to so gracefully share with us all and disregard the BS. Let your hearts, minds, and souls be so filled with the great memories, times, and experiences in that Whitney shared in her life. GOD bless all!
