Toronto police have arrested a 34-year-old Canadian man after he allegedly pretended to be teen pop sensation Justin Bieber while online, in a bid to make contact with children. The accused, Lee Moir, is being charged with several offenses, including three counts of luring a child under the age of 16, production and possession of child pornography, extortion and invitation to sexual touching.

According to the Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit, Moir was arrested last week (April 4) after he "extorted a 12-year-old girl through Facebook while pretending to be Justin Bieber." The police report states the man "threatened the victim repeatedly to entice her to perform sexual acts on her webcam. The girl complied and when she eventually ceased communication, the man told her he posted the videos to a pornographic website."

In addition to the Facebook profile name "Justy.beber1," Moir also used the social networking site under the names "Lee O'Neel" and "Yodayoda001." He was arrested while trying to meet an undercover cop, under the guise of a 14-year-old child in Toronto.
