Justin Bieber, Chrome Car: Blinding New Ride Could Land Pop Star in Legal Trouble

YouTube

Justin Bieber might be used to getting flack for his lyrics, music, height, and swag -- amongst other things -- but the singer's latest offense could get him into some actual legal trouble!

The 18-year-old singer chromed his $100,000 Fisker Carma eco-friendly hybrid car -- turning it into a virtual mirror on wheels -- and slapped on fuschia LEDs, AOL's Autoblog reports. The Biebs was spotted driving the car -- given to him by his manager during his 18th birthday appearance on "Ellen" -- as he left Chick-fil-A with girlfriend Selena Gomez. (Chicks dig expensive rides and chicken, apparently.)

While the chrome paint job seems enough to temporarily blind anyone who has the bad fortune of driving in its path, that's surprisingly not what might be deemed illegal. The small row of fuschia lights installed underneath the front grill is what could cause trouble as California law states that only white and amber lights are acceptable. Law officials say Bieber's tinted windows might be an illegal shade as well, TMZ reported.

On the brighter side, flashy cars and legal troubles could lend themselves to the newfound bad boy image Bieber's debuting with teasers for his video for latest single "Boyfriend."
