"Jason is expected to be there every day Britney is on set," a source told E!. "He is her rock and will help guide her through the process. He is the person she trusts the most." A second insider commented on how Brit's previously reported $10 million paycheck has jumped to a staggering $15 million in the final stretch of negotiations.
"Both camps were back and forth on the money but now they have finally come to agreement on the fee," the source said. "That was the big sticking point and now, thankfully, it's been sorted. All they need to do now is work out the smaller points. The fact the money is now set, means that there is nothing stopping this from becoming a reality."
As Britney's role as judge/mentor on the show is finalized, "X Factor" castoff Nicole Scherzinger has some opinions about the pop star who will be taking her place on the judges' panel. "Britney is so bubbly and warm and everyone loves her anyway, so she just has to be herself," Scherzinger told E! News.
"I think that it's something that we can't deny, but there's something about Britney that we ... are always rooting for her and behind her no matter what," Nicole added. Looks like there's no hard feelings there!
